I thought this was an interesting question as some of the past top performers are starting to be overtaken by younger players... I'm not ready to answer yet until I do some more analysis, but off the top of my head will guys like Ryan Braun or David Wright (who might already be at the top) take the throne away from Arod and Puljos? Not sure becasue AROD and Puljos are still fairly young, so in 5 years, they could still be at the peak of their game...
Thoughts?

A different slant on this would be to go back to the 2003 season and see who the top fantasy performers were, and see where they are now. Also, look at the top performers of today and see where they were in 2003, most were probably not even on the horizon yet. Take a look at the players that are currently on our rosters, and sort by 2003 stats, this link should probably work http://sjjl.baseball.sportsline.com/stats/sortable/team:all/2003:p/scoring
Take a look at your team and see who was actually relevant in 2003. Craig, the hitters you have now, were nonexistent in 2003...unless you count Joe Crede. Some names that I noticed after a very quick scan were that were studs in 2003 that still studs now are:
Pujols
ARod
Beltran
Ichiro
Ortiz
A. Soriano
Santana
Maggs
Hoffman(although he was hurt in 03)
Carlos Lee
Sheff
Oswalt
Webb
Derrek Lee
Vlad
Smoltz
Manny
Tejada
Halladay
Damon
Ar. Ramirez
Crawford
I'd probably vote for Wright. There a lot of other guys what could be there (Hanley Ramirez, Braun, Cabrera, etc.) but my money would be on Wright because of his age, all-around production, underlying skill, and - most importantly - lack of major recurring injury issues.
